From Sales Leadership to COO

Junie brings over 40 years of home care experience to her role. She first connected with agency founder Javier Herrera years ago while working in healthcare, and today she leads the operational and client-facing growth of A Caring Touch Home Care.

What Families Can Expect

Junie explains that when families call, they’re often overwhelmed and unfamiliar with home care. Her team guides them through:

  • Assessment & Care Matching: Meeting families at home, rehab, or hospital to design a care plan.
  • Safety First: Every start of care includes a home safety check and recommendations for equipment.
  • Compliance & Quality: Caregivers are licensed, bonded, insured, and trained in dementia care, transfers, and cultural sensitivity.

Leadership Beyond the Office

Junie’s leadership style is deeply hands-on. She personally attends evening “start of care” visits, introduces caregivers, and ensures families feel comfortable from day one. “I want A Caring Touch to be the easiest company to work with—for families, caregivers, and referral partners,” she says.

Serving a Diverse Community

Southern California is a true melting pot. Junie’s team embraces cultural traditions, matches caregivers based on language and preferences, and trains staff to enter every home with respect.

Commitment That Inspires

From late-night client visits to building contracts and retention strategies, Junie wears many hats. Yet her vision remains clear: to keep seniors safe, respected, and independent at home—while making the process easy for families.
